World Network's WLD token rose approximately 5% over the past 24 hours following Grayscale Investments' filing for a spot exchange-traded fund (ETF) that would directly hold the token. The price climbed to around $0.384, recovering from recent lows near $0.36, according to CoinGecko data.

The filing, submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), proposes the Grayscale Worldcoin ETF, which would trade on Nasdaq under the ticker GWLD if approved. The product aims to provide traditional brokerage investors with exposure to WLD without requiring them to manage crypto wallets or trade on digital asset exchanges. This development has sparked speculative interest, similar to past ETF filings for other cryptocurrencies, though regulatory approval remains uncertain.

ONDO Surges 13% as DTCC Tokenization Link and Robinhood Integration Fuel Rally
ONDO rallied over 13% as Ondo Finance linked its tokenized securities to DTCC's clearing infrastructure and deepened its role in Robinhood's blockchain ecosystem. The token broke above key moving averages, signaling bullish momentum.

Despite the short-term rally, WLD remains under significant long-term pressure. The token is down approximately 1.2% over the past week, 36% over the past month, and nearly 69% over the past year. The recent move has only recovered a small portion of its broader decline.

Grayscale's ETF Filing Details

The proposed trust would track the value of its WLD holdings using the CoinDesk Worldcoin Benchmark Rate, with management fees and operating expenses deducted from the trust's assets. Grayscale has not yet disclosed the management fee. Key details, such as the initial seed investment and the amount of WLD represented by each share, remain blank in the filing and are expected to be provided in later amendments.

If approved, the fund would operate as a passive investment vehicle, holding WLD as its sole principal asset without employing leverage, derivatives, or active trading strategies. Authorized participants would create and redeem ETF shares in blocks of 10,000 shares, known as baskets, either by delivering WLD directly or through cash orders supported by liquidity providers. Custody of the digital assets would be handled by BitGo Bank & Trust, while The Bank of New York Mellon would serve as administrator and transfer agent. CSC Delaware Trust Company has been named trustee.

The filing does not guarantee SEC approval or Nasdaq listing. Grayscale is expected to submit amended registration documents before the application can advance further through the regulatory process.

Technical Analysis: Key Levels to Watch

From a technical perspective, WLD faces several hurdles before a sustained trend reversal can be confirmed. On the daily chart, the token is trading near $0.385, holding above the recent swing low around $0.355. However, it remains below both its 50-day exponential moving average (EMA) at approximately $0.417 and its 200-day EMA near $0.458, indicating that sellers still control the longer-term structure.

The first major resistance area sits around $0.417 (50-day EMA), followed by $0.443 (23.6% Fibonacci retracement) and $0.490 (38.2% retracement). If buying pressure strengthens, WLD could attempt a move toward $0.54 (50% retracement) before encountering another supply zone near $0.582 (61.8% retracement).

On the 4-hour chart, short-term momentum is improving. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) has climbed to around 55, moving above its signal average after recovering from levels close to 40. This places momentum in bullish territory without entering overbought conditions, leaving room for additional upside. Meanwhile, the On-Balance Volume (OBV) indicator has flattened after weeks of weakness, suggesting selling pressure has eased.

However, daily trading volume remains well below the levels seen during June's rally, indicating that institutional participation has yet to return in a meaningful way. The recent move appears more like a recovery within a broader downtrend than the beginning of a confirmed bullish cycle.

For context, other crypto assets have also seen price movements tied to ETF-related news. For example, Solana retreated from $78 amid profit-taking and ETF outflows, while Chainlink eyed $10 driven by network migration and holder growth. Broader market sentiment has been mixed, with Dow futures dropping 360 points as AI rally concerns weighed on equities.
