UK Financial Ltd has confirmed that its MAYA CHAIN network is live and that it has started moving its portfolio of 12 exchange-traded tokens onto the Ethereum Layer 2 blockchain. The company said the chain has been operational since October 15, 2026, and that asset consolidation is now its priority before planned commercial activity begins.
The migration is designed to bring company-owned tokens and related on-chain records into a single environment. UK Financial Ltd intends to use eligible holdings recorded on MAYA CHAIN as collateral to seek DeFi financing, which it says would support its Retirement Plan Program, the broader ecosystem and the Maya Black card. The company has not sold tokens as part of its funding strategy, according to Vice President Richard Crespo, who said the focus is on consolidating assets so the company can pursue leverage against eligible corporate collateral.
Migration starts with legacy tokens
The program begins with Maya Preferred PRA (MPRA), the preferred-class token of the Maya Preferred Project. From there, it will extend across the company's exchange-traded and non-exchange-traded token holdings, along with on-chain records for other transferable assets. The scope includes CATEX-listed ecosystem assets, Wrapped Maya Preferred PRA (WMPRA) and the Retirement Plan Program token (RPWMPRA). UK Financial Ltd plans to migrate its ERC-20 holdings first, followed by its ERC-3643 security-token holdings. WMPRA and RPWMPRA have pricing arrangements linked to MPRA.
MPRA is described as a gold- and silver-backed Real World Asset Token. The company traces the Maya Preferred Project's origins to 2018 and regards MPRA as one of the earliest gold-backed tokens. MAYA CHAIN was developed by Xora Labs (Pvt) Limited, the company's blockchain infrastructure partner.
Supply reporting already in place
Token-supply reporting is already running through the company's Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE)-based program. UK Financial Ltd said its MPRA circulating-supply workflow went live on July 31, 2026, with verification information and the linked Ethereum receiver contract published on its website. The published circulating supply is 977,896.534 MPRA.
The workflow uses Ethereum token and wallet balances rounded to three decimal places. It subtracts 155,022,103.466 MPRA held in the Corporate Assets Hub and 44,000,000 MPRA held in the Irrevocable Treasury Vault from the total supply of 200,000,000 MPRA. CoinMarketCap continues to label MPRA's circulating supply as self-reported, and UK Financial Ltd is asking the platform to review the published CRE reports and supporting wallet records and to clarify any outstanding requirements for a verified-supply classification. The company intends to connect its existing supply reports with MAYA CHAIN migration records and supporting asset documentation.
Collateral value versus public float
UK Financial Ltd argues that the scale of its MAYA CHAIN strategy goes beyond the public circulating supply shown on token trackers. Circulating supply multiplied by price measures public circulating market capitalization, while company-owned token balances multiplied by their quoted prices measure the quoted value of UKFL's own holdings, including tokens excluded from public circulation.
MPRA illustrates the gap. The published supply report lists roughly 977,897 MPRA in public circulation, against 155,022,103 MPRA in the Corporate Assets Hub alone. At the same quoted token price, that corporate position represents more than 158 times the value calculated using public circulating supply. The broader strategy covers holdings across 11 exchange-traded tokens, with each company-owned position calculated separately using its token balance and quoted market price, then combined to describe the portfolio's quoted value.
The financing calculation the company outlines is: accepted collateral value multiplied by permitted lending percentage equals potential DeFi financing capacity. Actual financing depends on the selected protocol's accepted collateral valuation, lending limits and available liquidity. Any borrowing carries repayment obligations and collateral-liquidation terms.
Moonshot token role pending
UK Financial Moonshot Token (UKFLMS) forms part of the wider ecosystem plan, including its Solana-based Preferred Class and Robinhood-chain Common Class. UK Financial Ltd said the token has a planned strategic role in the MAYA CHAIN initiative, which the company believes will increase the value of UK Financial Moonshot Token, particularly the Preferred Class Token on Solana. At the time of the announcement, UK Financial Moonshot Token was trading at roughly $0.00123, the lowest-priced token in the company's ecosystem.
President and CEO James Dahlke said the company has already transferred gold-backed Maya Preferred MPRD tokens into its Irrevocable Treasury Vault, providing approximately $0.15 in gold backing per UK Financial Moonshot Token based on the company's valuation.
