Hyperliquid's native token HYPE is trading in the red on Monday, giving back some of last week's 10% gain as the rally loses steam. Despite the pullback, demand for HYPE-focused exchange-traded funds remains resilient, with products recording a fifth consecutive week of net inflows.

According to CoinGlass, HYPE ETFs attracted $12.27 million in net inflows last week. While that figure is sharply below the previous week's $56.86 million, the sustained positive flows suggest institutional interest is holding steady even as the pace of new investment slows. The streak underscores a broader trend of growing institutional participation in the Hyperliquid ecosystem, a decentralized exchange where HYPE serves as the native asset.

Zcash Eyes $1,300 as ETF Inflows and Short Squeeze Fuel Rally
Zcash gains 12% in 24 hours to $1,190, with ETF inflows and short squeezes driving momentum. Key resistance at $1,250; next target $1,300.

Institutional disclosures highlight growing interest

Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart shared data on X revealing that several major financial institutions have disclosed exposure to HYPE-focused investment products. The list includes Wealth High Governance, OLP Capital, UBS, Bank of Montreal, and Jane Street, among others. The participation of these established firms points to increasing institutional adoption of Hyperliquid, even as discussions continue about bringing related products into the regulated US market.

The continued inflows come at a time when other digital assets have seen mixed ETF activity. For instance, Bitcoin ETFs have seen record inflows while BTC remains stuck below $80,000, highlighting that ETF demand alone does not always translate into immediate price gains. Similarly, HYPE's price action suggests that while inflows provide a supportive backdrop, technical factors are currently weighing on momentum.

Technical outlook: support and resistance levels

HYPE remains comfortably above its key exponential moving averages on the daily chart, reinforcing the broader bullish structure. The 50-day EMA sits at $71.55, the 100-day EMA at $65.05, and the 200-day EMA near $56.64. The token's substantial distance above these levels confirms an established uptrend, but it also leaves room for a potential correction if profit-taking intensifies.

Fibonacci retracement levels calculated from the recent swing between $51.20 and $76.93 provide several support zones below the current price. HYPE is currently struggling to decisively clear the 127.2% Fibonacci extension at $85.94, indicating increased selling pressure near current levels. The Relative Strength Index on the 4-hour chart stands near 58, retreating from overbought territory, while the Moving Average Convergence Divergence indicator has slipped marginally below its signal line. These signals suggest that buying momentum is cooling, though neither confirms a full bearish reversal.

Key levels to watch

HYPE is trading close to recent support near $82.40. A confirmed break below this level could extend the correction toward $76.93, with the 50-day EMA at $71.55 and the 78.6% Fibonacci retracement at $70.51 serving as additional downside targets. Conversely, a decisive daily close above the channel's upper trendline near $89.61 would reinforce the bullish outlook. Such a breakout could propel HYPE toward the 161.8% Fibonacci extension at $98.95, bringing the psychologically important $100 mark into focus.

For now, HYPE's longer-term structure remains bullish, but the combination of weakening momentum and resistance near $90 could delay its attempt to reach triple digits. Investors will be watching whether ETF inflows continue to provide a floor under the price, as seen in other assets like XRP, which has rebounded on persistent ETF inflows. The coming sessions will be critical in determining whether HYPE can break out or if a deeper consolidation is in store.
