Velaris Markets has expanded its service offering to include both a retail brokerage and a proprietary trading arm, all accessible through MetaTrader 5. The dual structure allows traders to choose between direct market access or simulated capital challenges, with both services going live in July 2026.
Brokerage Accounts: No Minimum, Flexible Spreads
The brokerage provides two account types. The Standard account features spreads from 1.2 pips with no commission, while the ECN account offers spreads from 0.0 pips but charges a $7-per-lot round-turn commission on forex and metals. Neither account requires a minimum deposit, and leverage reaches up to 1:200 on FX pairs, with lower levels for other asset classes.
Traders can also use the client portal to copy strategies from providers or allocate funds into Money Management (PAMM) pools managed by designated pool managers.
Prop Trading: Challenges Without Deadlines
The prop arm offers 1-Step challenges ranging from $2,500 to $25,000 and 2-Step challenges from $2,500 to $100,000, all on MT5. Entry fees start at $29, and there is no time limit to pass the evaluation. Once a trader passes and completes identity verification, they receive a funded simulated account and keep 80% of profits, paid out as rewards.
Payouts are processed on 14-day cycles, with requests answered within 48 hours. For 2-Step challenges, the entry fee is refunded with the first payout.
Company Strategy and Support
Yasen Dimitrov, Director of Velaris Markets, explained the rationale: “Look at the firms that last in this space, and they almost always run a brokerage and a prop arm side by side — the two reinforce each other and strengthen the brand.” He added that traders with limited capital can either trade directly or use a small fee to demonstrate their strategy on a larger simulated account.
Support is shared across both services, with 24/7 live chat and an AI assistant that handles initial queries before passing to a human team available Monday to Friday. The goal is to resolve issues within the chat rather than create tickets.
The brokerage is available at velarismarkets.com, and the prop service at prop.velarismarkets.com. Neither service is open to citizens or residents of the United States or sanctioned jurisdictions.
Regulatory Status
Velaris Markets Limited is incorporated in Saint Lucia, registered in January 2026 under company number 2026-00083, and is not licensed by a financial regulator. Client funds at the brokerage are kept separate from operating funds. The prop service operates on demo accounts and is not a regulated financial service.
