On the 18th anniversary of the Bitcoin whitepaper, MEXC, a digital asset trading platform known for its zero-fee model, has launched a campaign titled “One Paper. Infinite Markets.” The initiative commemorates the document that, since its release in 2008, has influenced not only cryptocurrency but also the broader financial ecosystem, reshaping how value is transferred, when markets operate, and who can participate.
The whitepaper, published on October 31, 2008, was just nine pages long. Yet its impact has extended far beyond Bitcoin, as crypto assets now appear in exchange-traded funds and institutional portfolios, while traditional assets such as stocks, gold, and commodities, along with pre-IPO opportunities, are increasingly accessible on crypto platforms and on-chain markets.
MEXC positions this campaign as a catalyst for dialogue about the evolving intersection of crypto and traditional finance. The company emphasizes that the whitepaper's conclusion on page nine did not mark an end but rather the beginning of a new chapter in global financial markets—what MEXC calls “Page 10.”
As part of its vision of “0 Fees, Infinite Opportunities,” MEXC is working to lower barriers to market participation and reduce friction in trading traditional assets. Its one-stop platform allows users to access cryptocurrencies, stocks, tokenized stocks, gold, and commodities through a single account, spanning the full market lifecycle from pre-IPO to post-IPO.
MEXC's stock ecosystem includes products such as Pre-IPO Futures, Pre-IPO Launchpad, IPO Launchpad, IPO Express, RealStocks, tokenized stocks, and Stock Futures. Selected offerings provide extended or round-the-clock market access and support both long and short positions, giving traders greater flexibility in responding to market movements.
As of September 2026, MEXC reported access to more than 10,000 traditional financial assets. Over the same period, its zero-fee trading model has helped users save $110 million in trading fees, according to the company.
“The whitepaper ran to just nine pages, but its impact continues to unfold far beyond them,” said Vugar Usi Zade, CEO of MEXC. “Eighteen years later, the evolution of crypto and traditional finance is opening up new ways for people to participate in global markets. At MEXC, we believe opportunities should not be limited by geography, time, or access to assets.”
The campaign also includes a hero film titled “The Paper That Never Ended,” shared across MEXC's social media channels, along with an interactive game offering participants a chance to win rewards.
MEXC, founded in 2018, serves users in over 170 markets, providing access to crypto, stocks, tokenized assets, derivatives, and a growing range of TradFi-linked opportunities. The platform's focus on zero fees, deep liquidity, and broad asset coverage aims to enable retail users to discover opportunities earlier and trade with fewer barriers.
