MEXC, a digital asset trading platform known for its zero-fee model, released its September TradFi trading data, revealing a significant uptick in demand for tokenized US stocks and ETFs, particularly those tied to artificial intelligence. The exchange reported an 88% month-over-month increase in trading volume for AI-related assets, outpacing the 63% growth seen in non-AI assets.

AI-related assets now account for 48% of the platform's tokenized US stock and ETF spot trading volume, up from 44% in August. This growth is not limited to chipmakers; it extends across the broader AI value chain, including optical communications, power equipment, and data center infrastructure. Trading volume in semiconductors and memory rose 100% month-over-month, followed by optical communications and networking at 99%, power and energy equipment at 96%, and computing infrastructure and data centers at 91%.
