ONDO, the native token of Ondo Finance, surged more than 13% in the past 24 hours, reaching approximately $0.39 on Monday after trading near $0.34 the previous day, according to CoinGecko. The rally extended weekly gains to over 22%, driven by a series of institutional developments in tokenized real-world assets (RWAs).

DTCC Integration Strengthens Institutional Appeal

Ondo Finance announced that its tokenized stock products, including CRCLon (representing Circle shares) and SPYon (tracking the SPDR S&P 500 ETF), are now linked to DTC Tokenized Entitlements via the DTCC Tokenization Service. This integration connects the tokens directly to securities held within the Depository Trust Company's clearing infrastructure, moving beyond synthetic exposure.

HyroTrader Wins Best Prop Trading Firm at CoinGape Web3 Awards, Unveils On-Chain Protocol
HyroTrader has been recognized as Best Prop Trading Firm at the CoinGape Web3 Innovation Awards 2026. The firm also unveiled Hyro Protocol, an on-chain crypto prop trading protocol on Solana.

The move places Ondo among major financial institutions participating in DTCC's tokenization initiative, including BlackRock, JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, Nasdaq, and the New York Stock Exchange. Under this framework, DTCC creates digital tokenized entitlements with the same CUSIP identifiers and symbols as the underlying securities, enabling seamless movement between traditional custody and tokenized form.

For institutional investors, this model provides a direct link to existing clearing and settlement systems while keeping tokenized assets anchored to regulated market infrastructure. It addresses key custody, settlement, and operational requirements that many institutions consider prerequisites for adopting tokenized securities.

Robinhood Ecosystem Expansion

Another catalyst emerged from Robinhood's recent foray into tokenized equities. The brokerage launched its public Robinhood Chain, built on Arbitrum, alongside tokenized stock trading through the Robinhood Wallet. This rollout gives users in over 120 jurisdictions access to 24/7 trading and allows tokenized stocks to interact with decentralized exchanges and lending protocols.

Within this ecosystem, Ondo's products—including its USDY yield-bearing token and tokenized equities—serve as infrastructure for tokenized RWAs, granting the protocol access to Robinhood's global retail user base and expanding distribution for its offerings.

Broader Market Tailwinds

Improving sentiment across crypto markets has also contributed to the rally. Cooling inflation expectations and growing optimism around potential interest rate cuts have encouraged investors to rotate into altcoins, with capital flowing into RWA projects. Technical Analysis: Breakout Above Key Averages

The technical picture has strengthened alongside the fundamental developments. On the daily chart, ONDO has broken above its 20-day, 50-day, and 100-day exponential moving averages (EMAs), all clustered between approximately $0.339 and $0.345, indicating buyers have regained control of the short-term trend.

More significantly, the token has moved above the 200-day EMA near $0.376 for the first time in several months, removing a resistance level that had capped previous rallies. The daily chart also shows ONDO trading above its anchored VWAP, suggesting buyers remain willing to accumulate at higher prices.

Monday's breakout occurred alongside a noticeable increase in trading volume, confirming that the move is supported by fresh demand rather than thin liquidity. However, the price is now approaching a resistance zone around $0.39 to $0.40, where previous advances stalled earlier this year. A decisive daily close above that area could expose the May swing highs near $0.43 to $0.45, though confirmation would likely require continued strong volume.

The 4-hour chart points to strong short-term momentum but also signals that the rally has become stretched. The 14-period Relative Strength Index (RSI) has climbed to around 71, placing ONDO in overbought territory. While an elevated RSI often accompanies strong breakouts, it can also precede periods of consolidation as traders lock in profits.

Volume-based indicators continue to support the bullish case. On-Balance Volume (OBV) has resumed its upward trend after recovering from last week's pullback, indicating that buying activity has increased alongside price. The price structure on the 4-hour timeframe shows ONDO breaking above its recent consolidation range before accelerating toward $0.39. Holding above the breakout area around $0.37 to $0.38 would keep the current trend intact, while a sustained move above $0.40 could open the door for another attempt at the $0.43 to $0.45 region.
