MEXC, a leading cryptocurrency exchange, has unveiled Combo, a new feature within its prediction markets ecosystem that enables users to combine multiple event predictions into a single order. This development represents a significant shift from traditional single-event trading, allowing investors to express more complex market views.
How Combo Works
Combo allows users to consolidate up to 20 predictions across different events into one order. For example, a user could combine predictions on a World Cup match outcome, a stock market movement, and a cryptocurrency price target in a single trade. This approach reduces capital requirements and simplifies position management compared to holding separate positions for each event.
The feature currently supports sports and select cryptocurrency categories, with plans to expand into additional markets. MEXC, through its partner, aims to broaden Combo's use cases over time.
Transparent Pricing and Settlement
MEXC emphasizes full transparency from pricing through settlement. Users can see the complete cost and combo pricing before placing an order. The system automatically filters out logically contradictory selections and provides immediate confirmation prompts if pricing changes.
If all predictions in a combo order align with actual outcomes, users receive the settlement payout corresponding to the combo price. If any single prediction is incorrect, the entire order yields no payout. This mechanism rewards high-conviction views while maintaining clear rules and verifiable outcomes.
Industry Context
Prediction markets have traditionally focused on single-event trading, limiting users' ability to express structural views across multiple events. Combo addresses this gap by bringing advanced combination logic to centralized prediction markets. This innovation aligns with growing user demand for more sophisticated trading tools.
In related developments, TxFlow L1 launched Probly, a prediction market with 172 live markets and USDC settlement, highlighting the expanding ecosystem. Meanwhile, BingX reported a 700% surge in trading volume, reflecting increased interest in multi-asset platforms.
CEO Commentary
Vugar Usi, CEO at MEXC, stated: “In markets, as in life, nothing happens in isolation. One event ripples into the next. Single-event trading never reflected that reality. Combo does. For the first time, a centralized prediction market lets traders express combination views across non-mutually exclusive events. We are not upgrading a product. We are advancing a category. MEXC intends to lead it.”
Availability and Restrictions
Combo is now available to eligible users on the prediction market within the MEXC app, with a web version to follow. However, access is restricted in numerous jurisdictions, including the United States, United Kingdom, China, and many others. Users should verify eligibility before attempting to use the feature.
As prediction markets evolve, tools like Combo may attract investors seeking more nuanced ways to hedge or speculate. However, the risk disclaimer notes that probability information reflects only collective market expectations and does not constitute investment advice.
