Jumper, a prominent consumer platform for moving and trading assets onchain, has announced its first JUMP token sale through Legion, coinciding with its transition into a standalone company. The move marks a significant step in the firm's evolution from a cross-chain bridge aggregator to a broader onchain finance hub.

According to the company, Jumper has facilitated over $40 billion in cumulative transaction volume and serves more than 100,000 monthly active users. It claims to be the leading aggregator by bridging volume, holding a market share exceeding 15%.

Strategy's Smallest 2026 Bitcoin Buy: 250 BTC at $86,194 as MSTR Slips
Strategy bought only 250 BTC last week, its smallest purchase of 2026, at an average of $86,194 per coin. MSTR slipped as Bitcoin traded near $82,788.

The upcoming token sale represents Jumper's initial capital-raising effort. Funds raised will be directed toward accelerating product development, expanding user acquisition, and enhancing distribution across its suite of services. The JUMP token itself is slated for a separate launch following the fundraising process.

Jumper's strategic vision is to become a comprehensive "super-app" for onchain finance, offering users a single interface to swap, bridge, trade perpetual futures, access tokenized stocks and other real-world assets, and pursue yield opportunities. The company has already ventured into advanced trading and real-world asset integration.

One of the key upcoming releases is Jumper Perps, an aggregation platform for perpetual futures venues, expected to go live in the coming weeks. This product is designed to consolidate multiple trading venues into one experience, potentially increasing user engagement and revenue streams.

Originally incubated within LI.FI, Jumper is now set to be carved out as an independent venture with its own capital, leadership, and roadmap. The separation will allow LI.FI to focus on orchestration infrastructure while Jumper concentrates on the consumer-facing application layer.

Notably, Jumper is not conducting a separate equity financing round alongside the token sale. This deliberate choice aims to align the interests of users, contributors, and investors by having them hold the same asset—the JUMP token. CEO Marko Jurina emphasized that the token should be the sole vehicle for ownership and exposure to the company's growth, avoiding a split between equity and token holders.

Jurina stated, "There shouldn't be one group holding equity and another group holding a token. JUMP is intended to be the only way users, contributors, and investors participate in Jumper's growth, so the value created by Jumper is aligned with tokenholders." He also expressed a desire to set an industry standard for token-first ownership, arguing that crypto should enable direct participation in value creation for those who support and build these businesses.

As the onchain finance sector expands, Jumper's move to consolidate its position through a token sale and product diversification reflects broader trends in the industry. The company's focus on real-world assets and perpetual futures trading aligns with growing institutional interest in tokenized securities and advanced trading instruments.
