Real-world asset (RWA) tokenization is driving sharp gains across several major crypto projects, with Quant, Chainlink, and Ondo all posting double-digit advances in the latest session. The sector's momentum reflects growing institutional interest in bringing traditional assets onto blockchain rails.
Quant jumps on UK bank tokenized deposits
Quant's QNT token has climbed more than 40% in the past 24 hours, extending a rally that began in August. The move follows the first execution of tokenized deposits by major UK banks, including Lloyds, Barclays, Monzo, and HSBC UK, under the Great British Tokenized Deposit initiative. Quant's technology powered the transaction.
From a technical perspective, QNT has broken above the $84.71 resistance level, its highest point since May 16. The token is now approaching a golden cross formation, where the 50-day moving average crosses above the 200-day moving average. However, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) has reached 80, signaling overbought conditions. A pullback to the $84.7 support level could occur, which would represent a break-and-retest pattern, often a bullish continuation signal.
Chainlink benefits from tokenization boom
Chainlink's LINK token has also rallied, moving from a low of $7.15. As the largest oracle network, Chainlink is a key infrastructure provider for tokenized assets, and its price has responded to rising demand. The token has formed a golden cross, and it has retested the $10.26 support level, its May 10 high. Analysts see the next target at $15, with a move above that potentially opening the door to $20.
Ondo gains after BlackRock partnership
Ondo Finance has seen its token surge after the SEC granted an innovation exemption for tokenization and after the firm partnered with BlackRock, the world's largest asset manager. Ondo's price has crossed the $0.4843 resistance level, its May 9 high, confirming a bullish outlook. The Average Directional Index (ADX) is rising, indicating strong momentum, though the token is also overbought, suggesting a possible short-term correction.
The broader RWA tokenization trend is gaining traction as financial institutions explore ways to improve efficiency and transparency. While the sector offers significant potential, investors should be aware of the volatility and technical risks highlighted in these charts.
