Bluwhale, an AI-powered financial operating system, has introduced trading agents designed to autonomously trade tokenized stocks and real-world assets such as gold, silver, and oil. The new capability extends the platform's existing AI infrastructure into tokenized equities and commodities, allowing users to create agents that monitor markets and execute trades onchain within user-defined parameters.
The tokenized-stock market already includes instruments tied to major companies like Apple, Microsoft, and Tesla, though availability varies by issuer, venue, and jurisdiction. Bluwhale's agents are built to operate in this evolving landscape, where traditional assets are increasingly moving onto blockchain-based markets.
According to the company, users can specify the asset, amount, price conditions, and operating boundaries, then grant the agent authority to gather real-time information and act when those conditions are met. Unlike traditional trading bots that require every instruction to be pre-programmed, Bluwhale agents can exercise judgment within the user's defined mandate and provide transparency into their decision-making process.
The announcement comes as tokenization gains traction in mainstream finance. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission recently created a limited, conditional pathway for certain tokenized stocks to trade onchain, underscoring the broader shift of traditional assets onto blockchain rails.
“Real-world assets are blockchain’s next frontier, bringing traditional financial products on-chain and open around the clock,” said Han Jin, founder and CEO of Bluwhale. “We’re building infrastructure for AI agents to trade and manage these assets, because siloed financial platforms slow AI adoption in finance, while Web3 lets agents transact on users’ behalf 24/7.”
Market data highlights the growth of this sector. As of September 20, 2026, RWA.xyz reported $3.06 billion in distributed value and $25.83 million in represented value across tokenized stocks. Additionally, CoinGecko reported that tokenized commodities reached $5.55 billion in market capitalization in the first quarter of 2026, driven largely by gold-backed tokens.
Traditional exchanges are also extending trading hours. NYSE Arca plans to launch 23-hour-a-day, five-day-a-week trading on December 6, 2026, subject to regulatory approvals, with overnight sessions beginning at 9 p.m. ET on Sundays. Bluwhale's agents are positioned to operate around the clock, giving users the ability to trade while they sleep.
Underpinning the platform is Bluwhale's decentralized intelligence network, which indexes public data from more than 780 million wallets across 80-plus blockchains and is supported by 120,000 user-run nodes. This infrastructure enables agents to move from analysis to action in a connected workflow, executing transactions and holding positions onchain.
The initial rollout focuses on tokenized stocks, with support for commodities like gold, silver, and oil to follow. Bluwhale plans to begin a limited rollout at the end of September for eligible users through its desktop web application, with availability varying by instrument, venue, and jurisdiction.
“Once financial assets are programmable through tokenization, they can be traded and managed by code, and that code can be driven by intelligence,” Jin said. “Bluwhale is building the layer where the two meet.”
