Swapzone has expanded its Partners section to give crypto users a more comprehensive way to research service providers before committing funds. The new profiles aggregate service information, operational metrics, KYC requirements, refund policies, and community feedback in one place, addressing a gap that often leaves investors relying solely on quoted exchange rates.
The move comes as recent research highlights the importance of looking beyond rates. A one-month study by Bitcoin.com Research, analyzing 150,000 completed swaps aggregated through Swapzone, found execution-time differences of up to 45 times between non-custodial providers. In a $1,000 USDT-to-ETH scenario, a swap that took 45 minutes resulted in $160 of lost value, compared to just $5 when the same swap was completed in one minute.
The study, which ran from January 16 to February 16, 2026, examined eight non-custodial providers across ten high-volume trading pairs. It measured end-to-end execution time, rate accuracy, and rate deviation to assess how execution affects the value users actually receive. The findings underscore that the rate displayed at the start of a transaction is not the only factor that matters.
Swapzone's expanded Partners section aims to bridge that information gap. Each integrated provider now has a dedicated profile where users can review available products, supported assets, operational data, KYC information, refund policies, customer support channels, and community reviews. Swapzone also provides its own provider rating based on a proprietary methodology that combines multiple data points, including provider characteristics, operational indicators, and aggregated user feedback.
“When you send crypto to a provider, the exchange rate is only one part of the decision,” said Elizabeth B, Marketing Manager at Swapzone. “Our expanded Partners section gives you a place to check the provider itself before you make the transaction.”
The platform currently connects users with more than 20 integrated crypto service providers and offers access to over 1,800 digital assets. Services covered include instant exchanges, decentralized exchanges (DEXs), staking, lending, P2P trading, fiat on/off ramps, and other crypto services. The Partners section also supports specific research journeys, such as looking up a provider like Changelly to review its service details and community feedback in the same interface.
The research also revealed that leading platforms routinely completed high-volume floating-rate swaps in under three minutes, while execution times across providers varied from around one minute to more than 40 minutes for some fixed-rate swaps. This variability means that even when initial quotes look similar, the chosen provider can significantly affect the final outcome.
Swapzone's approach is supported by its access to transaction-level market data. The Bitcoin.com Research study used 150,000 completed swaps aggregated through Swapzone, measuring execution from deposit confirmation to the arrival of the swapped assets in the destination wallet. This data-driven methodology provides a consistent framework for evaluating providers, rather than relying on a single review or anecdotal evidence.
For investors, the expanded Partners section offers a practical tool to research providers before sending funds. By checking operational data, community feedback, and Swapzone's own evaluation, users can make more informed decisions and potentially avoid the value loss associated with slow execution times.
