SHOW Token, an entertainment ecosystem integrating blockchain, artificial intelligence, and community participation, is redefining the traditional cinema model by enabling fans to become active partners in film production. The platform's decentralized executive producing (DEP) model allows token holders to support films from early stages, gain exclusive behind-the-scenes access, attend gala premieres, and potentially earn rewards tied to intellectual property performance.
This shift addresses what the project describes as a historically one-directional relationship between audiences and the film industry, where viewers only receive the finished product. SHOW Token aims to invert that dynamic by giving the public a stake in a film's journey from concept to release.
Five-Pillar Ecosystem
The platform operates through five core components: SHOW Token as the utility asset; SHOW Movie, a watch-and-earn model that shares film performance benefits with audiences; SHOW AI & Marketplace for AI-driven creative production; SHOW KIDS, focused on developing local animated intellectual property; and SHOW Capital & Index, which handles strategic investment allocation and ecosystem value optimization.
Early proof of concept came with the horror film 'Cerita Lila', produced in partnership with MVP Pictures, which surpassed 1 million admissions during its theatrical run. SHOW Token served as executive producer on the project.
Upcoming Film Slate and Expansion
The initiative continues with 'Pemikat Jiwa' in collaboration with Makara Productions, and 'Sihir Tanah Kubur' with MVP Pictures, scheduled for release on July 23, 2026. Over the coming year, the partnership aims to support more than 30 additional horror and drama titles, including 'Seporsi Mie Ayam Sebelum Mati', 'Taboo', and 'Siti Vampire', working with leading production houses.
CEO Akshay Melwani, who brings experience from investment banking and equity research at Macquarie and Mandiri Sekuritas, views public participation as foundational to the digital creative economy's sustainability. “We are not waiting for the door to the global market to open on its own; we are building a new digital ecosystem so that the work of Indonesian creators can be accessed, owned, and appreciated by audiences around the world,” Melwani said. “And that begins with bringing audiences into the process itself, rather than treating them only as recipients of the finished product.”
$100 Million Commitment and Indonesia Focus
As part of its expansion into Indonesia, SHOW Token was listed on Mobee on June 26, 2026, easing local community access. The platform has committed $100 million in strategic investment across Southeast Asia, with Indonesia as the primary focus, aiming to build a more inclusive digital creative economy infrastructure.

SHOW Token positions itself as a global entertainment enterprise that leverages AI and blockchain to democratize funding for traditional creative industries. The platform's Web3 ecosystem focuses on AI-powered film production, creator collaboration tools, and decentralized funding, with the goal of modernizing Southeast Asia's entertainment sector and enabling global competitiveness.
