Pharos Network, a financial and AI-focused Layer 1 blockchain, has introduced the Axil Prime Credit Vault (APC), a fully onchain institutional private credit strategy designed to open historically exclusive asset classes to a wider range of depositors. The vault targets a yield of up to approximately 14.3% APY, with a capacity capped at $100 million USDC, and is distributed through major platforms including OKX Wallet, Binance Wallet, TopNod, and Kucoin Wallet.
Private credit has emerged as one of the fastest-growing segments in global finance, with institutional allocators pouring hundreds of billions into the asset class seeking returns uncorrelated to public markets. Until now, access has been largely restricted to large funds, family offices, and institutional desks. APC aims to change that by leveraging blockchain infrastructure to offer similar opportunities to a broader investor base.
Real Yield from Real-World Credit
The Axil Prime Credit Vault provides exposure to a diversified private credit portfolio sourced through institutional-grade infrastructure. Its target yield is composed of approximately 11.3% from the underlying private credit portfolio, plus roughly 3% in $PROS, Pharos's native token, as ecosystem incentives. This return profile is tied to real-world consumer credit cash flows rather than crypto-native emissions or speculative trading, emphasizing what Pharos calls "real yield."
The vault is a 100% Axil-managed strategy deployed through the R25 Protocol on Pharos. Pharos serves as the distribution and settlement layer, providing access for RealFi users; Axil acts as credit manager and vault operator, responsible for portfolio construction and credit strategy; R25 provides the real-world asset infrastructure connecting onchain capital to off-chain credit.
Built on Proven Framework
APC follows the success of Pharos's earlier pAlpha Vault, which also centered on real yield and operated securely throughout its lifecycle with no security incidents. APC is built on the same rigorous risk-management and operational standards, extending that proven framework into private credit. Depositors can fund the three-month vault using either Pharos-native USDC powered by Circle or assets bridged from Ethereum, lowering friction for capital across networks.
The vault reaches depositors through leading industry platforms, with distribution confirmed via OKX Wallet, Binance Wallet, TopNod, and Kucoin Wallet, extending its reach to qualified users beyond any single ecosystem. Access opens to the public on July 15, with capacity limited to $100 million USDC. Under the vault's "deposit earlier, earn longer" structure, depositors who join sooner accrue more yield-bearing days before the lock-up period begins.
Pharos Network is a financial and AI Layer 1 built for RealFi, delivering compliant infrastructure for institutional assets and internet-scale capital markets. The network is supported by strategic partners including Circle, Chainlink, Anchorage Digital, Morpho, and Centrifuge, connecting regulated capital markets with onchain liquidity venues. Built by former Ant Group leadership and engineers, backed by investors such as Sumitomo Corporation, Flow Traders, SNZ, Hack VC, and Faction VC, Pharos is developing the infrastructure layer for the next era of programmable finance and the agentic economy.
For investors seeking yield in a low-rate environment, the Axil Prime Credit Vault offers a novel way to access private credit markets through a transparent, onchain structure. However, as with any investment, potential depositors should consider the risks associated with credit strategies and the nascent nature of onchain real-world asset platforms.
