Strategy (MSTR) shares have been trading in a tight band recently as Bitcoin's rally cools. The stock hovered around $142.70, down from its September peak of $170. This consolidation phase may precede a significant move, especially after JPMorgan issued a bullish long-term forecast for Bitcoin.

JPMorgan's Bold Bitcoin Prediction

Bitcoin has lagged equities this year. After reaching $126,200, it has fallen over 30% to current levels. In contrast, the S&P 500 remains near record highs, supported by AI and energy stocks. However, JPMorgan analysts now expect Bitcoin to outperform stocks, bonds, and gold over the long term, projecting an annual return of approximately 10%.

Other prominent voices echo this optimism. Michael Saylor, Strategy's founder, continues to accumulate Bitcoin, reflecting his belief in its long-term appreciation. Vivek Ramaswamy's Strive has also been buying, and Tom Lee sees sustained outperformance. BlackRock, the largest Bitcoin ETF issuer, views Bitcoin as a hedge against rising US government debt, which has surpassed $40 trillion.

Strategy's Position as Top Holder

If these forecasts materialize, Strategy stands to benefit the most, given its status as the largest corporate Bitcoin holder. The company added 267 coins last week, bringing its total to 848,517 BTC, valued at approximately $70.2 billion. A rally to $100,000 would push that valuation to nearly $85 billion.

Meanwhile, US investors appear to be rotating back into Bitcoin. On Monday alone, Bitcoin ETFs saw over $550 million in inflows, trimming cumulative net outflows to just $90 million. Sustained inflows could mark a fourth consecutive month of net additions.

Technical Outlook for Bitcoin

The daily chart shows Bitcoin forming a falling wedge pattern, often a bullish reversal signal. It remains above the Supertrend indicator and the 100-day moving average. A breakout could target resistance at $87,254, with further upside to $90,000 and $100,000.

MSTR Stock Forecast

MSTR's daily chart indicates the recent pullback from $170 to $142 is losing momentum, as the Average Directional Index (ADX) has dropped from 40 to 24. The stock holds above an ascending trendline from August. A rebound could first target $170, then $200.
