King Global Critical Minerals Inc. (CSE: KING) (OTC: KGLDF) (FSE: 5LM1) has announced a new joint venture aimed at testing the commercial viability of processing historic mined materials for critical minerals. The company's wholly owned U.S. subsidiary, King Global Critical Minerals USA Corp., has partnered with Quantum Energy Corporation (QEC) through a newly formed entity, Security Minerals Corporation (SMC), which is owned equally by both parties.
The beta test will take place at Cleator, Arizona, in Yavapai County, and is designed to evaluate the recovery of critical minerals, including rare earth elements and aggregate, from materials previously mined at the site. The test is scheduled to begin in October 2026 and must be completed by February 2027.
Under the terms of the agreement, King Global will contribute mined materials and $150,000 in funding, while retaining full ownership of its land and mineral assets. If the beta test proves successful and both parties agree, they intend to enter into a definitive joint venture agreement to establish permanent processing operations.
Robert Dzisiak, CEO of King Global, commented, "This joint venture lets KING evaluate and unlock the value of its historic mined materials located on several sites on our Black Canyon Project, while retaining full ownership of its land and mineral assets. We look forward to working with Quantum Energy on the beta test at Cleator."
The Black Canyon Project, located approximately 100 kilometers north of Phoenix, comprises 213 contiguous concessions covering 4,000 acres and includes 15 former operating mines, such as the past-producing Golden Turkey and Silver Cord mines. The project is an early-stage exploration opportunity targeting copper-gold-silver-zinc volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) mineralization.
Quantum Energy Corporation focuses on the research, development, and manufacturing of Direct Energy Systems for industrial, commercial, remote, and residential applications. The company's involvement in the joint venture brings expertise in energy systems that could be relevant to the processing operations.
The beta test is a significant step for King Global as it seeks to monetize its existing mined materials without diluting its mineral rights. The company's broader portfolio includes the Howard Copper Mine Property in Arizona and the Mikwam Gold Property in Ontario, Canada.

Investors should note that the beta test is subject to successful completion and mutual agreement before any permanent operations are established. The timeline extends into 2027, and there are inherent risks associated with the testing and potential scale-up of processing activities.
