Bitget has released CEO Gracy Chen's mid-year address, detailing a long-term vision to transform the platform into a comprehensive financial ecosystem. The strategy centers on tokenization, artificial intelligence, and universal market access, reflecting a shift in user demand beyond cryptocurrencies.
Evolving User Behavior Drives Strategy
According to Bitget's internal data from the first half of 2026, approximately 52% of users now hold both stocks and crypto, 35% hold gold and other precious metals, and 51% utilize AI-powered tools. This diversification underscores the need for platforms that integrate global markets through emerging technologies.
Rather than becoming a simple "asset supermarket," Bitget aims to eliminate the friction separating financial markets. The company's strategy is guided by four principles: improving capital efficiency, delivering global assets through a crypto-native experience, expanding financial access via tokenized assets and pre-IPO investing, and simplifying trading with AI-powered automation.
Tokenization and AI as Core Pillars
Chen emphasized tokenization as a key driver, referencing her 10% tokenization vision. Products like Bitget Stock+ and Reality serve as early examples of how blockchain infrastructure can make investing more accessible and efficient.
Artificial intelligence forms the second major pillar. As AI evolves from analysis to execution, Chen described a future where users define investment goals and risk parameters while intelligent systems handle market monitoring and trade execution. Bitget now serves over one million AI trading users alongside more than one million copy trading users, following the rollout of products including GetClaw and the GetAgent Playbook.
Bridging Crypto and Traditional Finance
“Our focus has pivoted from being a crypto exchange to a holistic universal provider,” said Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget. “Our platform removes barriers that divided financial markets for decades. Users can now access crypto, stocks, CFDs, gold, and do more with their capital 24/7.”
Bitget is also addressing security and fraud concerns in the multi-asset landscape. The company recently published its Anti-Scam Report 2026, highlighting a surge in multi-asset fraud as AI and cross-platform tactics evolve.
Broader Mission: Brokering the Unbrokered
Closing the address, Chen described Bitget's broader mission as extending financial opportunity beyond traditional institutional channels, calling it the shift from banking the unbanked to brokering the unbrokered. This vision aligns with the company's efforts to reward cross-market trading activity through initiatives like the VIP Miracle Badge Program.
As Bitget continues to integrate AI and tokenization, the platform aims to provide a seamless, unified experience for investors seeking access to a wide range of global assets.
