Bitcoin is trading in a narrow range below $84,000, with short-term buying interest improving but facing headwinds from institutional outflows and macroeconomic uncertainty. The cryptocurrency is caught between key moving averages on the four-hour chart, reflecting a market that has yet to commit to a clear direction.

ETF withdrawals and Treasury yields pressure demand

Data from CoinGlass shows net outflows from US spot Bitcoin ETFs, reducing the buying support these products have provided in recent months. At the same time, rising US Treasury yields increase the opportunity cost of holding non-yielding assets like Bitcoin, making interest-bearing investments more attractive relative to the cryptocurrency.

Geopolitical tensions in the Middle East are adding another layer of uncertainty, prompting investors to reassess risk exposure. These factors are complicating Bitcoin's recovery even as its longer-term technical structure remains intact.

Technical positioning: between moving averages

On the four-hour chart, Bitcoin is trading above its 20-period exponential moving average (EMA) at $82,984 but below the 50-period EMA at $83,994. This suggests the recent rebound has improved the short-term picture without overcoming immediate resistance. Immediate support is identified at $82,296, while the daily chart shows Bitcoin above its 200-day moving average at $72,017, preserving a stronger longer-term structure.

The Relative Strength Index (RSI) stands at 58.44, indicating buying momentum above the neutral midpoint. Bull/Bear Power also points to buyers controlling intraday momentum. However, the Commodity Channel Index (CCI) and Stochastic RSI are showing overbought conditions, suggesting the rebound may encounter resistance or pause. Meanwhile, MACD, ADX, and the Awesome Oscillator are neutral, offering little confirmation of a strong prevailing trend.

Forecast: trading range between $78,962 and $86,768

The daily chart favors Bitcoin trading between the $78,962 support and the $86,768 resistance over the next two to three trading days. With RSI and MACD signals approaching neutral levels, there is a 50% probability of an upward breakout and 50% of a downward breakout, indicating no directional advantage in the near term.

A sustained move above the upper boundary would strengthen the bullish scenario, potentially allowing Bitcoin to rally toward the $90,000 psychological level for the first time since January. Conversely, losing immediate support at $82,296 would weaken the rebound, while a break below $78,962 would invalidate the projected trading corridor.

Market analysts believe the current consolidation could provide a foundation for another advance if risk appetite holds. However, ETF demand, Treasury yields, and geopolitical developments remain important variables for Bitcoin's next move.
