BingX, a prominent cryptocurrency exchange and Web3-AI company, has announced a partnership with Save the Children Hong Kong to support children and families affected by migration, poverty, and social exclusion in the Western Balkans. The collaboration focuses on Save the Children's 'Safety Nets and Resilient Families' initiative in Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, marking the first time Save the Children Hong Kong has worked with a cryptocurrency firm.

Humanitarian Assistance for Refugee and Migrant Children

Through this partnership, BingX will fund humanitarian aid for refugee and migrant children, including cash vouchers and essential non-food items. Save the Children is the only organization in the region providing cash voucher assistance as a core part of its child protection response, helping families meet daily needs while preserving dignity and choice. Many families transit through Bosnia and Herzegovina along the so-called Balkans route, facing significant hardships during their journey.

Support for Community Drop-In Centres

BingX will also support comprehensive protection and education services for children at risk of poverty and exclusion through community-based drop-in centres run by local NGO partners. These centres are critical, as one in five children in Serbia lives at risk of poverty and exclusion, and one in three children in Bosnia and Herzegovina lives in consumption-based poverty, according to a 2025 Save the Children report. The centres serve children facing challenges such as living in substandard informal settlements, engaging in street work, or being at risk of violence and child marriage.

At these centres, children access safe environments managed by experienced child protection professionals. Services include nutritious food, hygiene assistance, psychosocial support, educational guidance, legal aid, counselling, and family-strengthening programs. 'Every child deserves to be protected and have a chance at a better future,' said a Save the Children representative. 'Through our partnership with BingX, we can continue reaching children and families who need support and strengthen community drop-in centres.'

BingX's Broader Commitment to Social Impact

BingX views this partnership as part of its broader commitment to education, inclusion, and community resilience globally. 'Innovation creates its greatest value when it helps address real-world challenges,' a BingX spokesperson said. 'At BingX, we are committed to fostering a safe and secure future—not only within the digital asset ecosystem, but also within the communities around us.' The company has previously launched initiatives such as the BingX Visa Debit Card for crypto spending via Wirex and a $1M USDT campaign to engage its user base.
